Quick Update

Hey everyone!

How's it going? How was everyone's weekend. In my youtube video I said that I haven't been very inspired to post anything. Well that goes the same for my blog. However, since the making my video you guys have put some ideas into my head so hopefully soon there is another video or two in the works. I want to thank you guys again for being there and helping so that I can keep this going. Have a great day and always remember to smile! :)

What a Day I Had Yesterday! 02/05/2010

Hello Everybody! I just thought I would tell you about my day. I am a substitute and for the past two days (Thursday and Friday) I was at a charter middle school. Let me tell you that is not easy. The kids are big and very disrespectful. It's really hard being a sub because he kids don't consider you a "real" teacher. They feel like they can say and do whatever they want because the sub has no control over them. To a certain extent that is true. As a sub you are only at the school for a certain amount of time and the children don't think that anything serious will happen to them. The longer I was there the more I realized that either A) I needed a new profession or B) only sub at elementary schools. I like the school hours just not what I have to go through with the kids. I was in the school system for a couple of years as a reading tutor, but I was in kindergarten and 3rd grade. So needless to say I am not used to the older kids. There is so much that...
