Hey guys! How is it going for everyone? I hope that all is well. I just wanted to come on really quick to tell about an experiment that I had with oatmeal. I was looking online to see the health benefits of oatmeal for the hair. I came across the conditioner of oatmeal and yogurt so I wanted to try it out. I cooked the oatmeal and as an extra precaution I pureed the oatmeal so that I wouldn't have chunks of it in my hair. I mixed in the yogurt and put the mixture on my hair. I put a shower cap and a towel so that it would create body heat. Well I let that sit for about 2 hours because I was doing other stuff. I got in the shower to get it out. OMG! I co-washed my hair and rinsed it well and it still hair residue! :( Let's just say that I was not happy about that. It left my hair soft but who wants to walk around with oatmeal in their hair. So then I shampooed and it got some of it out, but not all. Then I detangled and braided my hair. That got a little more out. ...

Hey there! As you can tell I've gotten a hair cut! lol It's really short. At least to me. My ends had gotten so terrible and that was largely in part due to my lack of care for them. But anyways there it is and now I just need to start really do what I should have done and that's take care of my hair. What do you guys think? :)

Hey there everyone what’s been going on?  So as the title suggest someone very close to me die.  That would be my computer.  I’ve had that stinking thing for almost three years and it got zapped in this really bad storm that we had Sunday.  OMG I really need a computer for school work and other misc. so I immediately went out and bought me a new one.  I had a lot of crap on the other, but hopefully I can retrieve it. The new I got was a steal.  I got it from Best Buy for $376!  Isn’t that amazing and it’s a Toshiba.  So I’m really happy with it so far.  It was just a bummer having to put all my apps. on it.  I like it because it’s smaller than my other computer and light weight.  I’m not mad though because I got my money’s worth out of my HP.  So yeah….  Maybe I will be able to get at least 3 years out of this one. So how has everyone been doing?  Me, I’m ok just busy with things that are going...

Hello there everyone! I want to share with you this site I just came across. It's called Polyvore , an awesome site that lets you create outfits. What I love about the site is that it gives you a visual online of the things you like to buy and put together. I know for me that is a biggie because I am a visual person. I have next to no clothes and the clothes I do have are starting to get worn out. I just stop buying clothes because I would feel overwhelmed with the idea of having to buy a whole wardrobe! But now I realize that if I just buy one piece at a time it's much easier on my mind as well as my pocket. So here is an outfit that I put together. I like simple things nothing to complicated that is going to make me uncomfortable. I find that if I stock up on the basics and add a little flair it becomes cute without making me feel like I'm too dressy. So tell me what's you style? Leave me a comment and share what you like! :)

Hello everyone! Here is a picture of my hair in a wash n go yesterday (4/26/09). I find that as my hair gets longer the methods and moisturizers I used for my hair is not as effective as they used to be. If any one has some suggestions on what products I need to try please feel free to leave me a comment. It is becoming harder and harder to take care of my hair and I need to advice on what to do. I bought some fingernail polish called China Glaze. It's made by O.P.I. I love the color, but I don't know the name of it right off. I will post the later. I heard that it was suppose to be a good polish. It's okay, but it's not what I thought it was going to be. The colors are very vibrant, but without a top coat it will chip very fast. Also I really couldn't tell from the difference between the formula of the China Glaze or something cheap. Bottom line, I really like the polish and I think I just need to give it some more time. Sorry I need to work on polishing...

Hey guys! Here are some pics from a braid out I did last week or something like that. My hair is cut funny from all of the cutting I had to do to get the damaged pieces out. I need to go to a professional, but I just don't feel like it. lol Thanks guys again and I hope you enjoy!

It just seems lately that I haven't been doing anything with my blogger or my YouTube account. I don't know. I think one of this reasons is I'm not getting enough responds from my blog so it's hard to be motivated to keep going. I really would like some feedback from you guys. Another reason why I don't blog as often as I should is because my camera sucks big time! The pictures don't come out like I want them to so that you guys will be able to see what I see. I really think it's time to get me another one, but alas no money. So I need to make do with what I have because it's better to have a camera than none at all. I really love my hair, and makeup, fashion, and other things, but again it's hard to post sometimes when things don't go the way I think it should. I love you guys and I appreciate you support on YouTube very much! I am now up to 739 subscribers! So I am very pleased with that. :) I have a video that I need to post soon and hopefully...

Hey there! I was so excited to find hat Dillard's in the mall where I live now carries Carol's Daughter. I am by no means a product junkie. So it is rare that you will get a product review out of me because I don't like to try stuff out all to often.I prefer to stick with what works and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. However, when I came across the line I just had to try something out for myself. I chose the Hair Milk and let me tell you it's not cheap. It cost around $19! I must say the couple of times I have used it haven't been anything to get to excited about. It doesn't smell all that great either. I'm not going to write it off just yet though because I haven't used it enough to give you a definite yay or nay for myself. But as it stands now I don't want to buy it anymore. It costs to much and I can get better results from conditioner and coconut oil! I will keep you posted on the verdit as soon as I use it some more. Have a good day!

Hey guys here are the pics from last week from my experiment. I'm posting pics from each day. I don't know if you will be able to see the change, but I definitely notice a difference in my curl pattern after a couple of days. The problem I had the most is the shrinkage. My hair will start of so big and luscious, but then as it dries the shrinkage sets in. I still kept the definition though. So if you want your curls to reach their fullest potential here's what to do: 1. co-wash your hair 2. shake out the excess water 3. put on your moisturizer (coconut/olive oil, conditioner, etc.) 3. shake it again and go If it's cold you might want to use a diffuser. If you don't have a diffuser put your drier on the lowest setting. Enjoy the pics ladies and I will be back shortly with a makeup review! DAY 2 DAY 3 DAY 4

Hey everyone, How's it going? I'm making this post to do a little experiment. I was on youtube and two people that I am subscribed to (one of them is Marand113 or something like that)stated that if you cowash, moisturize, and not touch your hair, it will make your curls pop. I believe them, but I want to know for myself. So over the next few days that's what I will be doing. I think Hello Kitty is the cutest thing ever! That is why I was so excited to learn that MAC and Hello Kitty were teaming up for a collection. I mean, how awesome is that. Two of my favorite things combine to make the sexiest makeup collection to date. I definitely have to get my hands on at least a palette.
