The Experiment

Hey everyone,

How's it going? I'm making this post to do a little experiment. I was on youtube and two people that I am subscribed to (one of them is Marand113 or something like that)stated that if you cowash, moisturize, and not touch your hair, it will make your curls pop. I believe them, but I want to know for myself. So over the next few days that's what I will be doing. I'm not going to update everyday, but I will make a final post on it with the results from all the days. Here are some pics from today (Feburary 23, 2009). Enjoy!

What a Day I Had Yesterday! 02/05/2010

Hello Everybody! I just thought I would tell you about my day. I am a substitute and for the past two days (Thursday and Friday) I was at a charter middle school. Let me tell you that is not easy. The kids are big and very disrespectful. It's really hard being a sub because he kids don't consider you a "real" teacher. They feel like they can say and do whatever they want because the sub has no control over them. To a certain extent that is true. As a sub you are only at the school for a certain amount of time and the children don't think that anything serious will happen to them. The longer I was there the more I realized that either A) I needed a new profession or B) only sub at elementary schools. I like the school hours just not what I have to go through with the kids. I was in the school system for a couple of years as a reading tutor, but I was in kindergarten and 3rd grade. So needless to say I am not used to the older kids. There is so much that...
